Geoffroy Champagne Brut 'Rosé De Saignee'
Try this sparkling wine for your Thanksgiving celebrations. "Absolutely gorgeous. Deep, fleshy and wonderfully expressive, the Rosé has so much to offer. The flavors are racy and boldly sketched throughout. Raspberry, mint, dried flowers, rose petal and star anise all fill out the wine's ample, radiant frame." ~ Vinous Media
Merkelbach Urziger Wurzgarten Riesling Kabinett 2020
The Merkelbach’s vines remained on original rootstock, with an average vine age of 45 years. They are firm believers in tradition, and while changes in climate and style preferences have pushed up must weights and produced riper wines, the brothers craft wines of a style more typical to an era long forgotten. Kabinetten are still refreshing, aromatic, floral and a pop of minerality. As a result, it will pair well with your Thanksgiving meal.
Michel Girault 'Les Beaux Regards' Sancerre 2020
Pale straw in color; distinct notes of mixed citrus fruits, green tomato leaf, green peppercorn, white flowers, and black currant buds offer a wonderful complexity to this crisp, mineral-driven, aromatic, medium-bodied Sancerre. This wine is a delightful partner for all sorts of grilled fish, vegetables and, above all, roasted herb butter-basted turkey.
Walter Hansel Chardonnay 'Cahill Lane' Russian River
"Here is a big, beautiful wine that reminds me of a Corton-Charlemagne. Plenty of deep, poached pear, white peach, nectarine, tangerine oil and caramelized citrus are all present in this wine that shows virtually no oak, full body and loads of texture." ~ Wine Advocate In conclusion, it's another top Thanksgiving wine!
Domaine De La Madone Beaujolais-Villages 'Perreon’ 2019
"Inviting aromas of black cherries, blueberries and licorice introduce the 2019 Beaujolais-Villages Le Perréon, a medium to full-bodied, fleshy wine with a deep core of succulent fruit framed by powdery tannins and lively acids. As usual, this flavorful, beautifully made red from the Bererd brothers belongs on any short list of France's best-value bistrot wines." ~ Wine Advocate
Capiaux Pinot Noir 'Chimera' Russian River Valley
"Bright, sculpted and energetic, the 2018 is just singing today. Sweet red cherry, mint, blood orange, spice and rose petal all race out of the glass. The Russian River Pinot here has often been a bit juicier, but the 2018 is done in a style that emphasizes aromatic depth and focus. Superb." ~ Vinous Media
Mocali Rosso di Montalcino 2018
More voluptuous than most of the other estate's Rosso's, this shows off resiny, caramel and intense blackcurrant /blueberry compote-imbued fruit. Full -bodied and plump with fruit-forward Sangiovese appeal that manages great overall balance. This is a treat. 100% Sangiovese Grosso from one of our favorite Brunello estates.
Laely Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley 2018
Having studied winemaking in France, Laely Heron envisioned crafting a Bordeaux-inspired red utilizing fruit from some of Northern California's top AVAs. She has succeeded magnificently with the 'Laely'! Sourced from Howell Mountain, Rutherford, Atlas Peak and Oakville, this is 90% Cab, 10% P Verdot; beautifully-layered with cassis, leather, black cherry and clove.
